I'm after the latest Tamron 90mm macro lens to go on my Canon 6d but I'm a bit confused when I'm on Amazon site

The link is http://www.amazon.co.uk …+Macro+lens+for+Canon+fit (external link)

It does very discretely say "for canon" in the body, but normally I would expect to see "for Canon Digital SLR Cameras" in the title - but this item doesn't state in the title what make it fits.

Just wondered if anyone else could verify that this link is for a Canon fit which would go on my 6d - thanks :-)

The letters "Di" in the name mean that it is made for full frame. Di II is for crop cameras and Di III is for micro 4/3

understand that, but only want to know whether this is a canon fit. as i mentioned, there's nothing in the title of the product like there is normally for third party lenses

The description, the "customer questions", and these comments all say this is for Canon.

If the description is wrong, Amazon will take it back and pay for shipping anyway.

For sure. When the Tamron is 379 and the Canon is 414 it wouldn't even be a question for me but maybe there is a reason the OP is looking at the Tamron instead.

The Tamron has VC so a more realistic comparison would be to the $1000 L from Canon.

To answer OPs question it doesn't say Canon mount, it seems there are other listings that do and are cheaper, why not just get one like this?

Edit. In product description it says Canon mount. I'd still look at the cheaper listings though.
