I'm starting to feel guilty at sitting around in a warm house instead of getting out to shoot pictures. Canon 7D | 400L | 70-200L | 24-105L | Tokina 11-16

Since 50 isn't a native setting to the camera, it's just ISO 100 that has then been pulled back a stop. It's nothing you can't do yourself in post but if you shoot at 50, you lose dynamic range (especially in the highlights) that you would have retained if you had shot at 100.

Adam - I realize that ISO 50 is not a native setting. I was shooting water and I wanted a slower shutter speed and forgot to reset it. I rarely use it. Sorry if I told you something you already knew. Just trying to look out for fellow CA photographers!
