I'm sure you will make it to both soon.

I was at the Seafair hydroplane races once in my life...abt 20 years ago. What an adventure! Slept in my car overnight in a parking lot a few blocks away. Got up at 6 A.M. walked down to get a good spot along the shores of Lake Washington. Had a breakfast consisting of a bottle of Henry Weinhart's private reserve beer and a bottle of Michelob light beer. (Handed to me by two fellow race goers - But I've since quit drinking years ago)

I was actually there to photograph the hydroplane races. Such a blast. Of course things are so much different now. They had the Blue Angels back then, but that was the only air show. Not like today.

Oh yeah, the actual hydroplane races are pretty awesome too!

You will truly be in your glory!

Thank you! Very nice images! Beautiful motion blur: It must be hard to get image this sharp at 1/45 sec. How did you do it?

Technically, not the best I've gotten using this awesome lens but, hey, I was distracted by the subject!

ISS flyover tonight. Technically a crappy image. Equivalent to shooting a football field 300 miles away. 7D and used a 1.4x

Now this is truly freaky...

I created a black and white of something flying as well! ;)

Considering the distance involved (and the amount of atmosphere you shot through), the fact that it's actually recognizable is pretty awesome Keith! :D
