Big thanks to US ebay vendor "image-laboratory" for the fast service and low cost conversion ($100). I decided to go with the UV + IR conversion, but without the visible light spectrum.

It's really a different world when you aren't shooting the visible light spectrum. Here's another one of my favorites so far.

Really interesting, now I am going to have to research this kind of photography.

I had been considering this for a while but I sold off all my extra M4/3 and Canon bodies to fund some other stuff, and kinda keep kicking myself that I didnt get at least one of them converted to keep for just this kinda thing.

Just seemed the best I could find was over 200 bucks to get it done so here I sit. This thread makes me want my EP-1 back for this

Looking forward to seeing more of these.

Since having my Olympus PEN converted to infrared (IR + UV spectrum to be precise), I’ve noticed a really great amount of sharpness in my photos. The Tamron 14-150mm Di III lens natively takes very nice photos, and I also believe that IR photos may have greater clarity than our typical visible light spectrum.

Below is a 200% crop of a nature photo I took today with the Tamron 14-150mm Di III, infrared-converted PEN E-PL2, and my Benro carbon fiber tripod. No filter on the lens. Manual white balance, converted to monotone in photoshop.

No. Search for vendor "image-laboratory" on ebay to find his store.
