Was watching a herd of Elk when I saw these two hoodlums looking for dinner. They were listening to the snaps of the 7d, and one of them thought I was dinner. He came in on a run, and made it to 10'. I was lying flat on a rock and stood up and disapointed him, I felt that was close enough.

I just stood up, and he quickly spun around. Ran 50yrds stopped for a second, and took off for cover. Coyotes are scared of people, but I didn't want bit if he had got to close, you just never know.

A Wolf stature is unmistakable, especially at a close distance, they are much larger animals. I am going out on a Photo hunt for wolves later in the year so I hope to have a few shortly I can share.
