RoyA.Rust Rest peacefully in the Celestial infinity More info | Feb 22, 2016 20:34 | #7 At the time I took these, I had no idea about stacking images - still have no idea how to stack one with a comet in it. For the one showing multiple images, I took a lot of pictures from my back yard, with a lot of light pollution, and couldn't get the tail. I used Photoshop to copy the image from January 19th to the other positions where I could only see the coma, then added the information for each position. Image hosted by forum (777417) © Roy A. Feb 23, 2016 08:39 | #9 It's still looking good . Weatherman last week mentioned the comet and showed a sky map showing it getting close to the galaxies near the Big Dipper constellation . That would make for a fantastic image if someone could capture both in one image . Of course you would need a guiding system to be able to capture the galaxie also .
