Went for a road trip for some eagles

Finally got some sun down here in southern MN. so I went for a road trip on the back roads in search of roadside eagles. Got this beauty this afternoon about a half hour before I lost the sun with my 7DII and 100-400 version I handheld. He landed at the top of a pine tree how fitting for the holiday weekend.

Thanks for the comments. Funny thing this guy came out of know where, I about went into the ditch trying to get pulled over and get my window down to get the fly by shots.

So far I love it AF is killer and ISO much better than the original. I now shoot auto ISO without worry
