Title pretty much explains it all. I purchased the full T5 kit on 10/27/14, cut the UPC off all packages, sold both the printer and the 75-300mm lens, and mailed the completed form to Canon Rebate Center around 11/15/2014 (estimated date).

Called the rebate center last week, and my information had not been received. Called rebate center today and a supervisor told me there was nothing she can do because I no longer have the Pro-100 printer. Obviously my letter of UPCs and Rebate Form was lost by USPS or Canon. I insisted the situation get escalated and she said I had to call Canon's main corporate center. Customer Service there documented all I had to say, but that only the rebate center can resolve the situation.

The Customer Service Rep was more friendly than anyone I spoke to at the Rebate Center, and said that a supervisor at the Rebate Center may call me next week (not holding my breath). I just sent an email into Adorama to see if they can come to the rescue here. After all, I obviously did purchase the Canon T5 kit because my VISA was charged for it and Adorama shipped it to my house. I have very little positive to say about any of my interactions with Canon.

I feel your pain, I guess keep a record of everything and hope for the best with these rebates.

The above was written as part of an attempt to waste time.

No copies. I have contacted the guy who bought the printer, and should have an image of that serial later today. I have the T5 w/ serial on bottom right here. Sent a follow-up email to Canon Rebate Center after emailing Adorama.

I usually take a quick snapshot with my iphone of the rebate form, UPC, invoice, addressed stamped envelope, etc. all laid out on the table. I have done scores upon scores of various rebates and it always helps to hve some back-up documentation.

Things do get lost in the USPS mail system and I would not fault Canon for this. Canon rebates are pretty big and they require the cardboard UPC cutout; it simply is rebate fraud prevention.

I hope that this works out for you and since you have the Adorama purchase invoice I would think that you have a decent chance.

Oh yeah. Never trust these rebates. Gotta keep copies of everything.

Without copies, I think your chance of getting the rebate is very slim to none. Yes talk to the Manager and see if it's something they can help. Next time remember to make copies. Good luck.

Helen from Adorama wrote me back promptly on the matter. I am contact with the buyer of my Pro-100 printer and should have pics of the serial + printer tonight. I have the Canon Paper and T5 here w/ serials, and will try to submit as a "lost claim". Fingers crossed, and thanks very much Helen. Wouldn't be possible without you.
