Neutral Density in the Middle of a Sunny Day

I hadn't ever tried shooting with the ND filter into the sun over the water in the middle of the day before (everything I'd ever read had said that it was basically a bad idea). I like how it turned out in the end, although it's not my usual style.

Anyone else have any similar examples?
