Hello again,
I made a recent trip to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse to try some more startrail photos. I walked away with a few images that I was happy with and wanted to share. All the photos except the milky way picture were taken in the same night.
This one is my favorite startrail picture to date:
I also tried my first image stack of M42. This was 131 dark frames taken with a 6d, 400mm f5.6, 1 sec, ISO 12,800. I also used 30 dark frames and processed in DeepSkyStacker then tweaked in Lightroom. IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/qyUDif
I'm happy with the image for my first try but admittedly I have no idea how to process the photos in DSS. It's still a long ways away from the photos that get posted to this forum.
