I enjoy your prose connections to your photos itsallart and darkslinger.
I have a hard enough time coming up with a picture let alone prose to go with it.

Mar 30, 2015 18:00 | #279 I had big, big plans for this month and then, as is so frequently the case, life got in the way. At one point I considered trying to take pictures of alternate definitions of the colors -- for example, instead of taking a photo of something that's the color green I'd take a photo of something that's "green" meaning environmentally friendly. Another thought was to take photos of just about whatever I wanted to and give them each a garish pop-art Warhol-ish treatment in post. But my favorite idea that I didn't get around to was inspired by something CameraMan said when he saw the list of topics for March -- he said something like 'I guess I'll have to put away the black-and-white film for this month'. And I thought - why? The idea was to photograph familiar things that are usually a certain color -- an apple for red, a sprawling endless lawn for green, etc. -- but photograph them with black and white film. I still think that could be awesome, but I just didn't have the time. Seaside Tree: This one looked a lot greener in real life -- especially the green moss on the bark of the tree. So, not very colory - but it's still my favorite photo of the month. Shot with an Olympus Infinity Stylus on Fujifilm 200. IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/qVK2zb Southport Alley: I kinda love the crap out of this one too, but I really wish I could've taken that black mat out of the shot. Unfortunately there was a repairman working in the alley there and he was patiently waiting for me to take my shot and I didn't want to take advantage, or push my luck.
