I agree, Don. Flowers are created with extraordinary details. Years ago (late 70's) I was traveling through the Florida panhandle (close to Paxton) and noticed a low-lying, marshy area. I decided to investigate it and found a literal Garden of Eden of wildflowers. I've got some of the old 35mm images somewhere in storage from back when I was learning to aim a camera...still had a lot of creative learning to do. But, there were dainty small yellow flowers that I'd never seen, some delicate white flowers with narrow but long petals curling downward, and pitcher plants...the pitcher plants were *everywhere*. There were other flowers, but these stand out in my memory. I've often wondered if that little bit of paradise still existed. I know it's general area but have no idea of it's exact location but one day maybe I can ride that area and possibly find it again.
Nice shot and thanks for posting it (and tweaking my memory!!!).
Looks like participation was light this past month. philk54 did a fine job picking some good challenges for us.
Now, darkslinger has laid July's challenge down for us....onward!!!!!!!!!!
