Going to latest post....

Even though I have never previously clicked on a thread. Am I doing something wrong or what?

I will click on a thread that I have never previously read before. It will take me to the last post and give me the finger pointing beside it.

To go to page 1, click the 1. If you've never opened a thread, clicking the title takes you to the last post.

That seems kind of silly, why would it take me to the last post automatically if I've never previously read the thread?

Well, it does not. If you have never opened a thread it goes to page 1. If you already have been at page 1 and click that thread title again (thread URL has "&goto=newpost" in the end), you get to page 2. So: with unfollowed threads the title link "&goto=newpost" gets to you next unread page, or if on last page is read, the unread post (if any) or the last post.

I must have been thinking of threads that you opened long ago and didn't pursue. Now they have many pages you haven't read, but clicking the title doesn't take you to where you left off.

Ok. Well I am just cruising around sub forums that I normally don't read, because I am bored. I stumble across this. This is a post I have never read, in a sub forum I had never clicked on before until about 10 minutes ago.

It worked fine for me. Are you saying that you went to the last post and there was the hand pointing to the last post?

Yes, I had been crushing new sub forums out of boredom. For the first time clicking on them I was taken to the last post with the hand pointing to the last post. A quick look shows that there are 3 threads that show "go to first unread" even though those are threads I have never read, in sub forums I literally just clicked on for the first time.

Amazing what you find if you take things out of context.

I am finding the new navigational tools to be very handy and quite fast. As I open more old posts that I have not read since AMASS hit the scene it is getting even better. Now I can spend even more time not working!
