High in the sky now. Light pollution minimal.
Will continue to update data.

Excellent capture and edit Peter . I notice a thin streak to the right side of the image . Could be a satellite but I would bet it was a piece of Space Junk . I have caught the same thing in the past , only when I caught Space Junk there were several pieces in a group . I sent several images to NASA and they eventually returned an email saying it was space junk . Check out my image on Flickr .

Thanks Ron. Orion is the dominant object in my sky so it'll get a work out. Esp now it's above the light pollution.
It was a satellite in one frame. Dulled down via stacking.
I was tempted to remove the frame.

Nice image Peter. Great detail. Well done. What is the total image exposure time?

Good catch Don. I am totally surprise by the number of activities around the Orion form my location. Almost it is impossible for me to take a set of images of Orion without some strange UBO (Unidentified Bright Objects) in my set and some have very interesting configuration, speed etc.

Nice one. Have you seen the video Hubble (2010) At about minute 8 there is a fly through the center created from the big space telescope images. 90 trillion miles wide with a 5 million an hour wind whistling through it. That whole area of the sky is awesome.
