Comments/suggestions are always appreciated. I Shot this off City Island in New York was 3 Exposures proccesed in Photomatix Pro

It's an interesting shot, but the sky needs work. It draws your eye because it is so dark with haloing around the trees. Other than that, I really like it.

Love the colors in the grass and boat. I agree about the sky, it looks too dark.

I prefer HDR images that are natural rather than artificial looking HDR. Yours is overdone and haloing is an indication.

I agree with the sky but I also feel that the grass side facing you is a little dark, it blends with the boat shadow to much

Agree... AND... looking at the lighting (late afternoon?), this is probably an even better image as a single exposure with typical processing. Thanks for posting!

Thank you all for the Comments .. this was my first try with HDR ... i will try an play with the single exposure see the results

The sky is an empty area. All the texture and color in the rest of the photo is good.

yea your right about the Sky .. everything else about this Photo and the way it was processed i love .. Maybe I'm bias since its my photo lol but i love the look its almost Surreal more Art then just a Picture off a side block on City Island
Maybe tonight ill try an play around get the Sky to have that same feeling as the rest of the photo

For me, it is way overdone. Like you said, it looks surreal and I prefer natural looking photographs.

If you like the way it looks, in the end that is all that matters!

Agree. HDR is tricky - a balance between capturing the benefits and yet not overdoing it. Keep working at it.
