Sharp-shinned Hawk

My wife and I were in our blinds photographing a group of blue jays when this hawk swooped in hoping for a quick meal. After each failed attempt he would perch in a nearby tree to rest.

Saw my first one in over a year last Thursday morning while out driving. Plenty of Cooper's hawks around here though.
