Ducks definitely add and further enhance the image.
Only that fountain, not shown in image but its spraying effect is distracting (When not knowing what is going on).

The bare tree right smack in the middle of the image and the spray are bothersome to me. I would have moved that tree to the right hand side of the image and placed the ducks more toward the left hand side.
