I'm looking for a shoulder bag for my T3i plus three small kit lenses. Ideally, I would like to load the T3i with it's kit lens attached facing horizontal, not facing with the lens down like most of the planet seems to carry.

I have several old camera bags, mostly Lowepro One thing I find is that most of my bags are too tall for my taste. My guess is that most shoulder bags were made for cameras to be carried with the attached lens facing down.

Like many others, I too am looking for the "perfect camera bag". Here is my description of what I would love to get:

- Interior dimensions would be 10 inches length, 6.5 to 7 inches deep, and no more than 7 inches tall.
- Only one snap to secure the top flap (plastic would be good, location should be in the center of the flap)
- Addition zipper to secure the top flap
- Metal strap loops
- Either water resistant shell or at least a hidden rain cover (like the ones on Lowepro bags)
- Priced for under $100

Any suggestions?

Don't know of any bags that only have on center buckle, but size/price wise, the Think Tank SurUrba disguise 10 fits your size and cost criteria pretty well.

My suggestion would be to build the insert yourself and then put it in a bag that meets all your criteria. Here are some DIY things to see if it might be something you want to do.

Not sure if you've made a decision, but Timbuktu, APECase, and even Neewer have "camera bag inserts" that you can use to adapt any bag. They come with padded velcro dividers so you can fine tune them to your gear. Kind of builds off the flying moose's post. It really opens up the options because you can pick ANY bag you like and don't have to look like you're carrying around camera gear. Search on Amazon for camera bag inserts. They are available in all sizes and dimensions.
