For your first time this is very good imo.
I'm not speaking as a portrait expert by any means but this is what I would have done differently:
In the first and fourth shots he's wearing a fluffy hat and I personally find that all a bit too 'Anne Geddes' but I'm sure many will disagree.
The second shot is great with him all wrapped up like that. I would've edited out the red blotches on his face though.
The facial expression is a bit odd on the fourth one but the fifth shot is by far the best imo.
Any shot where you can get both the face and the tiny feet in the same shot without having to put him in an unnatural position is usually going to work.
I also like the simplicity of that shot because there are only really three colours in it.
This is a difficult age to shoot babies because they don't have control of their own limbs (or bladders) and they haven't learnt to smile yet.
On the up side they can't run away yet!
If your 'customer' is happy I would do this again in about six months time because they'll be all smiles.

Thanks for the great feedback! I said the same thing about Anne Geddes with the first pic, we laughed about it. I had talked to her before hand about whether she wanted to do more natural or go with some hats and stuff and we mostly did a mix of stuff as she seemed to like both. I did editing on the face, he had a lot of milia and some scratches but you're right I should get the blotches off too. I agree with the facial expression in the bird nest that was caused by him being super squirmy and would only chill out with the paci in so that was right after she pulled it I snapped the picture then he started fussing again lol. He was a little challenging, but that was probably good to get my start with one who was not easily pose-able. I told her 6 months we could do some really fun stuff.
