Here are a few more of my feeble attempts at raptor capture. We tend to have more light morphs in my area than dark, but I have been seeing more darks lately too. These guys have become quite used to me and have let me approach them more often. The owl lives in the wood across from my house and while I hear him often, we see him little. Amazing he can fly through the thick tress silently and never hit a branch.

Nice images of the red-tailed - I love the wing positions you captured.
Personal favorite is the 2nd owl pic the way you caught him peering through the twigs.

I think you did very well with the red-tailed. I am lucky to get 1 or 2 keepers for every 100 shots at raptors in flight.

Your getting close to a red-tail is a huge plus, so far I can only get 2 telephone poles to them then I'm spotted and they're off :( You have great captures, love the barred too.
