Jan 06, 2015 09:37 | #8 Thanks all. While not a great shot it illustrates what a handsome bird this is. We have them year round but are somewhat secretive although once in awhile I see great flocks of them but they look just like any other flock from a distance. Occasionally in the summertime they will feed on insects down by our river. This one was quite a ways back in the sticks and was difficult to get a half way clear view. Darn sticks anyway A hour outdoors is better than a day spent indoors.
