Would it be possible to put the purple notification bar at the bottom of each page, in addition to the one at the top? It requires a lot of redundant clicking/typing to get back to it again after reading a page.

Also, is there any way to only mark the posts which have actually been fully drawn on the display to be removed from the implicit list of posts that haven't been read yet? Sometime you don't have time to read an entire page, or an accidental keystroke takes you off the page, and then AMASS thinks that you've already read the entire page.

Thanks for reading and considering these requests.

You say 'clicking/typing' so I assume you use a mouse and keyboard. If you bring the cursor over to the left or right margin it should change to a hand pointing upwards. Click and you're at the top of the page. On Windows PCs the Home key takes you to the top, End to the bottom of the page. I assume Apple has similar keys. That should reduce redundant strokes and clicks a bit.

Thanks, I saw that pointing finger once before, but at a time when it didn't help with a perceived problem, so I forgot about it.

My request has grown since I first typed it; to make it even more efficient to catch up in multiple threads if the Notification bar was not only duplicated on the bottom of the page, but also already opened on the bottom, so just one click brings you to the next unread post.

This is already done for 1.1 :-)

The PM link/alert and notification alert (purple bar) will be added to the right side of page footer as well as to top left as seen on the screenshots (https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1413467). When you click the notification to open the list, you are no longer scrolled to top of page in order to view it, but the notification list will appear over the page as "LIST NEARBY THREADS" does now, so you can view it from the current scroll position (also when clicking the gray top bar notification link in thread view) without need to go to top.

Also, notifications are listed by forum (now they do not have any order, really) in order of your personal order of forums.

This is something that I need to understand first in order to comment on it. Hide all read posts from threads?
