Went to a place about 30 minutes outside of town a couple months ago called Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks. It has "cone-shaped tent rock formations that are the products of volcanic eruptions that occurred 6 to 7 million years ago and left pumice, ash, and tuff deposits over 1,000 feet thick." It is a1.5-mile trek up a narrow canyon with a steep (630-ft) climb to the mesa top.
A few shots I have so far.
And my favorite one.
