My two kids are, on and off, interested in taking pictures, not that I put them under any pressure but I do try to think of ways to encourage their interest?

Just wondering what you all do to help your kids with it all.

This one is my boy Photoshopped into his Chinese birth animal, he had a great time doing the entire process from shoot to post (he's only 4 1/2 too).

My daughter definitely is, although she's a bit older than your kids; 28.

She shoots both digital and medium format film, and she's scary good.

Pisses me off...

My 10 year old daughter is into everything I shoot. She takes her P&S out on landscape outings with me, she like to play dress up while helping me test lighting in our studio and has tons of fun playing with the light box doing product type shots of her toys. We are starting to let her play around with lightroom and PS too. She is also showing a lot of interest in learning Solidworks which is what I do for my day job.

Not yet but I'm sure the influence of doing photography will one day influence her in some way. It did to me with my father being an amateur photographer for many years.

My ten year old granddaughter makes clothes for her American Dolls, takes photos of them with a cell phone and posts them to a tumbler account. She has 183 followers! That's more than I have for any of MY PHOTOS! I would like to think that all these years of her posing for me has inspired her somewhat. I am going to get her a real camera for Christmas.
