There is no InfraRed wireless remote either so you are stuck with using the self-timer function.
If you are "adventurous" there is a software program called CHDK that you can install on your camera. http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK
It includes a hack for your USB port to be used as a remote shutter release.
