Heard a pair calling to each other while on a New Year's Day walk and found this one.

They're about 22 inches. Females are larger than males.

Thanks. GHOs are common around here, but they can be hard to see unless they're calling or a mob of crows gives them away.

Simply awesome. Owls rank up there as one of my top three favorites. Not real easy to find and capture. Awesome job!!
