This is a camera that has intrigued me since it was released, but too expensive for me. Been waiting and hoping it drops in price as the life cycle ends, but anyways, doesn't seem to get much love around here especially in comparison to the A7.

Any current/former owners care to share some images and/or experiences (Both good and bad)?

I had one and loved it. Sold it but hoping to buy one again, with the EVF, once prices are reasonable. It's much more solid than the A7 and got one sweet lens.

Here ya go man! I just returned mine on Monday and will be pushing the buy button very soon. I wish the price would drop but really, its worth the money.

With the falling prices, I bought a brand new one yesterday. They were £2500 when they first came out new here in the UK, now seem to be around £1200-£1300 so got one and the EVF.

I have been after a good quality compact for some time as a walk-around camera and a back-up to my DSLR's. Leica was where I was headed - the Typ 113 - until I saw the price I could get the RX1r for nowadays.

Canon EOS R5 with: RF 24-105 L, RF 70-200 2.8 L , RF 24-240, RF 35, RF 16, RF 100-500 L, RF 100 2.8 Macro L, EL 100, Fujifilm X100V, GoPro Hero 9, DJI Mavic Air 2, Insta360

Nice! Youre going to love it. The lens and sensor combo is nearly unmatched.

Sony's best 35mm lens by far. Shoot mine continuously.

I have an RX1 and the IQ when I open up a file in LR still blows me away everytime. I am however getting less satisfied with its AF performance, particularly in low light...

I've bought a OMD EM10 and its really much better for AF. Will have to decide if I keep RX1 or not now...

Any owners have any tips to improve low light AF? accuracy and/or speed?
