A significant thunderstorm passed over my home area today
a reasonably photogenic one :)

Yes it does :)

this storm cell evolved so quickly ..... 20-30 minutes later it had totally fallen apart


the pix were with the Canon 24-105mm @ 24mm

Thanks guys :)

This storm evolved very quickly ... those 2 pics were only ~ 5 - 10 minutes apart
within 30 minutes the storm had totally degenerated into a cloudy mass

Nice shots of a thunderstorm. Given where I live and grew up, and all the storms I've witnessed, I'd say that was a tornado in the making. Seen waaay to many of them, some way too close too. Luckily it didn't have the energy to keep building.
