I went to this wedding simply as a guest, not the hired gun.

This shot illustrates setting camera to expose the outdoors seen thru the window without it being blown out, while properly illuminating the interior scene.

And this shot illustrates dragging the shutter to capture the ambient indoor illumination, while properly illuminating the bride and groom during cake cutting.
