Size does matter when it comes to who eats first in the animal kingdom. Pic taken today on another gloomy cloudy day in North Idaho.:-):-)

Very nice shot Terry and well timed to catch the action. Looks like the younger one is saying "OUCH that hurts".
So you are having many gloomy days in a row, keep shooting, they look fine to me.
What lens did you use for this shot?

Thanks Steve. Yes still pretty gloomy out. This shot was at ISO 1600 using canon 70-300L lens. Really like this lens.:-)

Great shot! I think that's the lens Jeff (Pondrader) uses to capture his deer and bird photos. Excellent quality.

Nice capture there. Old does can get pretty onry. We have a little button buck that comes to our feeder that is catching on quick. He's using both front legs at the same time to hold his own. Gonna be a mean lil guy.

Thanks Cbay1. Yes, the old does pretty much rule the roost when they get herded up in the winter as they do here. I've seen the fawns, especially the little buck fawns establishing their dominance over the other fawns in the herd.:-)
