Had the pleasure of shooting Holly for some headshots last night and here is the first one I've processed.

The only thing I find distracting is the dual catch light in the eyes. Other than that, the shots and the processing look great.


7Dmk2, Tokina 12-24 f/4, Canon EF-S 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, Canon 70-200 f/4L IS, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS III, Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2, a few other cheap lenses, lots of little stuff, flashes, stands, and almost enough brains to be considered dangerous :confused:

Yeah, the catchlights are weird, but I didn't really notice them upfront. I prefer #1: there's a certain blueness to the background which complements the orangeness of her skin tone and hair really nice.

Thanks very much for the nice comments. Regarding the catch lights, they are a product of the clamshell lighting that I used and I rather like the look.
