While I've seen the Blue Angles multiple times, I never had the chance to see the Thunderbirds. Naturally as luck will have it, they are scheduled for this year's airshow near me ( if it happens) but on a weekend I have to work

They’re supposed to be in Reno for the air races 9/18-19. Maybe a practice show on Friday.

I see that the races are scheduled for 2021. That's great! There was a bit of wonder if they would ever be held again because of COVID issues.

If anyone here has the chance, by all means attend these races. This is one of the premier aviation extravaganzas anywhere in the world. I have been many times (and once at one of the pylons during unlimited heat races) and I'll never forget my experiences.
