My favorite from a recent airshow, due to the sharpness and overall exposure being extremely satisfying to me.

I metered carefully on a "perfect" day and went manual. My first airshow shoot. My EF400/5.6 L + Canon 7DmkII makes a fine combination indeed.

Not an airshow shot, or even a good shot for that matter, but I thought of this thread...

I was in Orange Beach, Alabama on Monday. As we walked into our condo after dinner, looking out the back door we saw the Blue Angels screaming down the coastline in formation. I grabbed my camera for a fleeting shot. I've checked and they were at an airshow in San Francisco over the weekend, so I assume they were heading home to Pensacola.

It was an impressive sight and vacationers were still talking about it the next day.
