I don't know how usable this would be on a smartphone.

Might be better suited towards the tablet market, pity it's not compatible with my Galaxy tabs, especially if it could have been tethered.

There seems to be no way to save photos to the SD card, everything goes into main memory.

I was part of the beta program and it actually works well on tablets.

I'm guessing they will eventually unlock this feature with an update.

Since Lightroom mobile is a service, it is available only via membership plans. Lightroom 5 perpetual license does not include access to Lightroom mobile.
