There is a reason why tripods are wider based and more heavily built than light stands. So I wouldnt mount my camera on a light stand. Why do you need to mount the camera on a stand if you are using a flash?

I got heavy light stand, i mount my soft box on that light stand, I don't have room for set tripod with light stand, that why I try to find some way i can mount soft box and camera to one stand. it doesn't matter tripod or light stand.
tripod not high enough for soft box
how you can mount both Camera and soft box on one tripod?

I think what gonzogolf was getting at was if you're using a flash to light your subject, what do you need a tripod for? If you need a tripod to let in more light, what are you using a flash for?

I need tripod because I use it for life view to take about 1000 or more picture of guess and client.
I just Google it, seam like I have to use Studio stand, but it cost over 1000$ for studio stand.

You could get this bracket then mount the whole thing on a tripod. A light stand is not going to be sufficient

Hello. Have you considered a monopod and the light stand? Cheers.
