Pros:
- Good value for money;
- Decent image quality with little noise up to ISO800, noisier at ISO1600 but perfectly usable, noisy at ISO3200 but usable, very noisy at ISO6400 but can be usable if image is small;
- Light;
- Longer battery life than most DSLR's;
- Center focus point is very accurate, decent at low light and good for tracking;
- Liveview;
- Large buffer for jpeg's;
- On bulb mode the elapsed time is displayed on the LCD screen. And you can see it in the dark! Unlike other more "advanced" and expensive bodies.
Cons:
- Very low fps, especially at RAW;
- Very small buffer for RAW files;
- No swivel lcd screen;
- Outer focus points not good for tracking and have low accuracy;
- Plastic body has a cheap feel to it;
- Grip has no rubber and could be bigger;
- No manual video mode and is only 720p;
- Small viewfinder;
- 12 megapixels gives you very few room to crop.
