Bakersfield, CA the suburb of Death Valley When I passed thru it in 2012 someone described it as a such, saying its a overnight stopover to DV.

Hahaha that's a good one lol ya not really anything special here.

I passed thru in May of 2012 on my first photography related trip. I do remember a pretty sick sunset happening at the evening of our passing thru but nothing else to frame it. It wouldn't matter since at the time I was walking thru the streets of Bakersfield to find something to eat. I remember there was a street with Italian Restaurant, Wendy's and gas station / liquor store on the cross corners or nearby.

Ya you really have to search and know where to go to find anything worth shooting.
