Pied Egrets from same place and time as OzUlrike . Couldn't come close to her shot though however thought this was worth a post

Terrific series, clipper! I especially like this shot of the Pied Egrets engaging in an aerial dispute.

Pippan Cream of the Crop More info Post edited 8 months ago by Pippan. | Mar 21, 2023 08:11 | #4148 Interracial conflict amongst Little Egrets at Fogg Dam. In the left corner we have race nigripes from Australia, Indonesia and PNG up against the occasional vagrant, race garzetta, from Asia, Africa and Europe. Note nigripes' yellow lores and black feet (with yellow soles) versus garzetta's greenish grey lores and yellow feet. Needless to say, the Aussie saw the interloper off! Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.
