I put this together to make sure I had them cropped to about equal proportions. The wife agrees with the concept, so I'm going to re-shoot at f/4 and see if I like the DOF better. I think I'll use a tripod to keep the pair more consistent, too. Then I'll do some editing and try them as B&W versus color. Thoughts?  Canon EOS 7D | Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM • EF 70-200mm f/4L USM | Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 OS HSM

Looks good, my only comment would be to make sure you match the WB/skin tones in both as in your example the one on the right is a lot warmer (unless they don't have similar tones, if so just ignore me) Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

In that case I think colour is still a good option for you as people who see it who know them will know that's their skin tones and wouldn't even think twice about it.
