Nice place & shot. You are lucky not to have anyone walk into the scene, it looks like a big place.

I want to guest blog on your Landscape / Travel photography blog, PM for details

Silver Falls is an amazing park, I think you could easily spend 3-4 days there. I hit the park in October on my last day in the Gorge and took a scout shot from this exact location but didn't shoot it because my shot didn't look anywhere near as good as yours :D I haven't processed any of those so this beautiful shot is a kick in my pants to do so.

Great shot, love the framing between the two mossy trees.

Thank you. We were fortunate. Arrived early in the morning on a cloudy day. No one was around. Oregon is an all-around incredible place!! BTW, using a CPL made a huge difference here.

I saw your post from last year mentioning you were going to the Gorge. Where else did you go when you were there?

We were there last June and spent three days in the Gorge. Visited the usual falls. From there we went to the Willamette Valley for another three days and really enjoyed some fine wines. It was during that time that we visited Silver Falls State Park. I would really like to return in the Winter and spend time in the Gorge as well as Olympic National Park (for some coastal photography), but not this year.

Of course we visited Multnomah Falls. Got there at around 6:30 a.m and there was no one around.

Multnomah Falls is such a beautiful place. It can be very difficult to get a good shot if you are not there at the right time. Very nice work.
