I had a senior shoot a few weekends ago. I decided to leave my go-to lens (135L) at home and took only my Tamron 28-75. I forgot how much I like this focal range and how sweet this little lens is.

Nice enough images, but the processing needs work. The color especially is off.

I noticed that too.

Some interesting compositions, like #3, where you are shooting from above.

I think you did great as in a lot of your work. I see what some might say about the processing being a little different but I think it works and she should be delighted with these. I use to have the same lens and turned out some excellent shots with it. The only reason I sold was to help fund my 17-50 f/2.8

Nice work. The yellow stripes on the pole in the last image are distracting to me though.

It's the same spot as in #4. I was standing on the right side of the doorstep.

Nice set with different processing. I miss the 28-75 and only sold it because I bought the 24-70VC. Sometimes I think about switching back over because of the nice size.

Hi,
my favs are #1 and #3 (especially this one is gorgeous - nice POV and very nice smile).
I bet she was very satisfied with the whole set.

Really cool location find for image 4. I agree with those above -- there is some revisions in post I might consider (the color seems a bit warm), but these are looking pretty neat-o overall!

I disagree with the negative processing comments - I like what has been done.

The only image I do not care for, and I think the client may not exactly like it, is #2 - her back and neck region makes her look overweight - all the other pictures are excellent in my opinion.

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Nice. The 28-75 was amazingly sharp when I had one...Great value lens for sure!
