At least I'm pretty certain it's a Cooper's so correct me if I'm mistaken.

ETA: Thanks to all who helped correct my incorrect ID. Not a Cooper's, but a Sharp-shinned Hawk.

I think it's a Sharp-shinned. Squared of tail with no white margin. Sharp-shinned hawks are closer to the size of a pigeon, and Cooper's hawks are crow-size.

I think Beekeeper is correct. The head is more round with a more dainty beak. The striping on the breast appears to be heavy also.

Well captured.

My best guess is a juvenile sharp-shinned although others here are much more knowledgeable in this area.
Whatever, it's a fantastic capture! Congratulations on such a nice image.

Beauty capture and well done Dave. I checked my Petersons Bird App. and looks like a Sharp Shinned Hawk.

Well then, Sharp-shinned it is! Thank you all for the kind words and for the assist with my poor ID skills. I kept going back and forth with the tail shape and the bird seemed closer to crow size as I thought back on the encounter. John, it was your comment regarding the breast streaks that cleared it all up for me! Thanks again!

It can be tough to ID whether a bird is a Cooper's hawk, or Sharp-shinned hawk. Generally Cooper's hawks have rounded tails with a wide white band on the tail tip with a less heavily streaked underside than Sharp-shinned hawk. Cooper's hawks also have a more square-shaped head. However, you can't pin down an ID based on one plumage characteristic alone since various conditions like plumage wear and moult can effect how a bird looks. Cooper's hawks are crow-size, and Sharp-shins are closer to pigeon size, but judging size in the field (or in pictures) can be difficult. I usually try to use a combination of traits to ID an these two species since they can look so much alike.

Jerry Ligouri writes on Hawkwatch International's blog and provides a lot of good info on Raptor ID.
