Very nice winter scene Terry, looks like you are catching up on the snow depth too.

That's a bit rough on the poor Pelicans.
I'm sure they're above the antics of those others :p

I do like that photo

Thanks Steve. We did finally receive about 30" of new snow from this event. Looking like more coming tomorrow night. Was nice to get the snow. We really needed it and more wouldn't hurt anything.:-)

With all the winter's snow, foraging for food is starting to get a little tougher for the deer. But they do look plump enough yet, that they should make it in fine shape till winters finally over.:-)

Yet another excellent shot Terry, they look to be in great shape and at least we are in the last half of winter.

Fantastic photo Jeff. Your deer and Terry's both look in better condition than mine do. Though I haven't had as much snow I think the combination of very cold, snow and ice have been rough on my deer and they are using a lot of energy, more than normal. I need to try for some shots soon to compare.

Hey Steve… hope your doing well. I too like seeing Terry's Deer, I think we can both relate very well on a deer leave lol

Looking at his images makes me see myself out there in the snow getting close to the deer.

Doing well Jeff, many times this winter I wish I had cut my stock pile of firewood early and been more prepared like my Canadian friends do! So as you may have guessed, many days find me sawing in the snow instead of sneaking around with my camera. You guys cheer me up with those nice pics, I never tire of seeing deer.

Your winter Steve, is just brutal. Nothing likes ours here. We get a lot of snow, but not the very cold temps and high winds like you do. You all that live there are pretty darn tough.ߘ

I’d like to see myself out in the sun and standing in some green grass.ߘ
