Always fun to find a bonus in your shots. That is a big elephant!

Go, Mike! I am on my iPad for viewing & commenting so keep me entertained. Not allowed to lower my leg for a few days so no sitting at my PC.

Thank you all. Woke up yesterday with a hot & red calf. I immediately knew it was cellulitis but zero idea how I got it. Went straight off to the Dr. for antibiotics. It is pretty painful.....grrrrrvmad

Yes it does! Seems like it is one darn thing after another & it takes more & more coaxing to get my body to behave.

Bummer Maureen, that sucks!

To take your mid off of it,.

This was in the Nxai pan Botswana.
Far off from the accessible paths we watched a large group of Ostrich with some amazing "flamenco" mating ritual dances going on.
Here the one in the foreground is ducking and swaying it's head in rhythm. "undulating" would be the best word to describe it without being able to see the motion. (one of the few things I shot video of!)

So cool, I bet that was so much fun to watch. We did see ostriches but mostly solo or A couple quite far apart. We found one dad sitting on a nest...he got up and ran off so we were able to get a good look at those huge eggs!

More pictures, please!
