I see. OK, I hope you'll indulge me in a little experiment. First is a juvenile darter, Anhinga novaehollandiae, second is Tolmer Falls in Litchfield National Park. Both at much greater size than I normally post.

Hmm, they look better but not hugely. I'll blame the camera, like all poor photographers!

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

I just looked up the Image Rules which state:

Does Pekka need to update this statement and change it from 2.5MB in file size to 10MB in file size?

Would that also change the 1600 Max Pixel size?

To be fair, the 2.5 Mb limit does appear to relate to the eight embedded images. Eight embedded images @ 2.5 Mb each = two uploaded images @ 10Mb each.

This thread has encouraged me to revisit my African photos from a time when my ability necessitated lower quality control..
One of the better ones: Amboseli National Park, Kenya

Speaking of which, this little guy was just pissed.

He was thrashing around, shaking his head and all sorts of pitching a fit while the adults wouldn't even acknowledge him. So wish I had taken some video of the tantrum because a still image doesn't do it justice.

There were several times when I wished I had taken videos of elephants. When they are annoyed they fling ears and trunk in all directions. We also saw a male parading. He was marching ahead of us swinging his head and trunk and twisting his rear end in the opposite direction, so that he had a corkscrew effect rippling through his body. A video would have demonstrated it much better than my words can.

Thank you, that just may be correct.

Here is the best thing I can tell you. Try to upload a photo over 10MB & it will not do it but a message will pop up to say it exceeds the 10MB limit.

The rhino on the left of the second photo reminds me of how light on their feet they can be for such a large animal.
