I saw this recently on Shark Tank. All 5 sharks had an offer on this product. I can probably think of a half dozen uses for this creatively.

Problem is it costs around $200. I could also use one of these at work. The little magnet idea is superb.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

That's pretty cool.

I don't know that there would be much of a photographic application, but it's cool nonetheless...

I am finishing up this episode right now. $200 for that? It looks like a Chinese paper lantern with a fake candle inside. Sure it looks cool, but for $200 I couldn't even begin to wish my worst enemy to buy one.

But then again, maybe my low income household just could never afford something like this. The Sharks went crazy as mentioned. I think they simple invested in the guy. He seemed really intelligent and knew what he was doing.

Ikea sells very similar lamps here for next to no money. Well, they are spheres and have no magnets, but I remember my family had those when I was a kid.

200 for this is paying for the cool-ness. And clever marketing of course!

Cool but as others have mentioned, not worth the 200

It's portable. The paper lanterns at IKEA are cheap because it uses a standard light fixture. This is a cordless, battery powered light. I have paid well over $200 for a very high end flashlight before. Seems like a good pricepoint to me.

If you must know...

Seeing as how the OP and almost every reply mentions $200. I'd say it's arouuuund... $200 :)

From their kickstarter page it was $200. Unless they've lowered it since then...
