I LOVE myrtle! I recently bought a Roscoe fretless with a solid myrtle body. Not one of my pics but it shows the body pretty well - between work and gigs I have been too busy to take some decent pics.

Did you get it repaired? My Les Paul Studio has a headstock repair in the same spot...same shape as your break there.

Yeah, that's an old ouch, but my tech made it all right. Les Paul headstocks--like motorcycles--come in two varieties: those that have wrecked and those that will wreck.

This is an American Special, a deal too good to pass up when a local shop was liquidating inventory for a big move a few years ago. I like it because the neck is a bit wider than the other models.
My son covets this one, he has my old Strat. I really don't play much electric guitar, but like having this one.
