f-stop LOKA setup + Large Slop ICU + Mil discount

Here is my setup. I have yet to use it but its ready to go! A buddy of mine has been using their brand back pack for a while and loves it. Can't wait to use this bad boy in the Alps or around my house Oh and BTW...f-stop gives discount to those in the Military. A whopping 25%! With the discount, I basically got the Large Slope ICU for free ($99). Win Win for me...and for everyone else who is eligible.

Looks good, like the setup. They really do make some great products. I use mine all the time, have taken it all over Europe and have no complaints. Also the discount applies to fire and police also.

Wonder why do you have your grip laying next to camera?
I guess Slope ICU should fit gripped camera just fine. *and 24-70 you have mounted feels better with gripped cam.

ps. Have Loka + Medium pro flying my way Got it for a nice price on ebay, hope this is my last backpack for next years.

The grip does help offset "The brick" when installed however, when changing between lenses i.e. tele to pancake to 17-40 the camera feels better without the grip and less bulky when on my blackrapid strap.

Yea, I prefer to leave grip at home when using with 17-40 or primes.
Does gripped camera fit well in the ICU?

I haven't run into issues with my setup, other than when using the large ICU it's hard to fit non photo gear in the bag. I usually put my Lee filter set on top of the ICU. Maybe I just carry too much photo gear. I also have a medium and small ICU if I want to change things up.

It doesn't seem the ICU comes in "Medium Pro" - do you mean Medium Slope/Shallow?

I figured I respond here so that others can see.

I have yet to really take this pack on the road fully equipped. But I hope the pictures help. For me, it seems to have a decent amount of space in there for a days trip out in town. Only thing is what the "days trip" entails to you. For me it fit more than enough for my Macbook Air, food, water, wallets and other necessary items for survival in town for a 3 year old above the ICU. I would say that if deciding on using it for hiking/camping like events, this may not be the ICU for you. Anything other pics you think you'll need, just let me know.
