Does anyone know roughly how long it takes for a new model to have a refurbished version available on the Canon store?

It depends on return rates and inventory control. I would expect to see it appear in the next couple of months though.

By the number of complaints and returns, I would expect to see something soon.

That's part of the reason why I'd prefer to purchase a refurbished unit over a brand new one. There seems to be more QC on refurbs than there is on NIB.

Yes with the 50 or so complaints here, inventories should swell quickly! :)

I'm a little curious if they'll wait until all the original 7D refurbished models are all sold out before offering the mark II.

Personally, I wish the 100L macro were available refurbished. Out of stock for a while.
