I think #2 looks a little posed. Perhaps if they were laughing and looking more at each other rather than straight at camera? They are a bit too central in the frame.

To make it funnier (it is quite funny) I think #1 needs another girl on the right with a sign reading 'She stole my boyfriend!' :-)
